The Parkegate Group, based on the UK’s South Coast has acquired the KCS Herr-Voss (UK) Ltd company, based in the West Midlands. The Parkegate Group now comprises of two divisions – Parkegate Engineering and KCS Herr-Voss (UK).

Parkegate Engineering, a privately owned company, was founded in 1996 by four senior managers from the former Davy International Rolling Mills Division. Originally employing a staff of 16, Parkegate has grown to 35 employees in less than ten years of trading. Last year Parkegate Engineering moved to new, larger premises and to continue that growth, KCS Herr-Voss (UK) was added to the group.

The new acquisition adds a wealth of references and experience dating back to the 1960’s. KCS Herr-Voss (UK) will remain in the West Midlands, but has already relocated to larger facilities in Halesowen.

Managing Director of Parkegate, Neil Winkley, said “We started out in 1996, primarily with a Rolling Mills background, but have become increasingly involved in Process Line projects over recent years. The acquisition of KCS Herr-Voss (UK) complements our existing business and adds new products to our portfolio. We anticipate continued growth in both divisions of the group in the coming years.”
